Who Am I?
Hey, I’m Sil — makeup artist, brow specialist, business owner, educator, and proud mum of three. I wear a lot of hats, and I wear them with intention.
My beauty journey started over 15 years ago, fresh out of high school, experimenting with colours, techniques, and transformations on my family and friends. I quickly fell in love with how makeup could enhance not just features, but confidence. In 2011, while still based in Sydney, I got my first big paid gig in Melbourne — and just like that, my side hustle had its first spark.
From there, I built my kit, started taking weekend clients, and expanded my services to include both hair and makeup. As word spread, so did my bookings. But life evolved — I became a mum, moved to Melbourne, and started teaching full-time. Through it all, I never stopped working on my dream.
Now, I’m a hands-on mum of three, running a beauty business I built from the ground up, all while shaping young minds in the classroom. It’s not always easy, but I’m driven by a clear vision — to grow, to elevate, and to provide for my family by doing what I love. Every appointment is personal to me. I work with intention, detail, and pride. Whether it’s brows, bridal glam, or a fresh look for an event, I bring everything I’ve got to the table.
Over the years, I’ve invested in my craft — completing hairstyling courses, diving deep into brow artistry, and earning my PMU certification in 2023. I’ve had the privilege of working with women from all backgrounds — Indian, Tamil, African, Afghan, Islander, Asian, European, Middle Eastern — and for all kinds of occasions: weddings, maternity shoots, portraits, parties, formals, and corporate events.
My journey has taken me through countless brushes, bold looks, soft glams, early call times, and beautiful faces — and I’ve loved every minute of it.
